Terms of Service

1. About these terms

Swole.fit is run by TDeWorks AB in Sweden ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Swole.fit. By creating an account or using Swole.fit, you accept them.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

2. Health and safety

  • Swole.fit is not a medical device and doesn't give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
  • Training plans, progressions, calorie and macro targets and AI coach answers are general fitness information and estimates. They don't replace advice from a doctor or other qualified professional.
  • Talk to a doctor before you start, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition or injury, or have a history of eating disorders.
  • Stop when something hurts, and get medical help if you need it.
  • If you're under 18, Swole.fit only gives you maintenance calorie targets: no cut or bulk.

3. Who can use Swole.fit

You must be at least 13 years old to use Swole.fit. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Your account

You log in with your email address: we send you a 6-digit code to enter in the app. There are no passwords, so keep your email account safe. Anyone who can read your email can log in as you.

Use an email address that's yours, and tell us through the contact form if you think someone else has used your account.

5. The AI coach

  • The AI coach and the other AI features in Swole.fit generate answers automatically. Answers can be wrong, incomplete or not right for you.
  • You decide what to do with them. Check anything important, and don't rely on the coach for medical advice or in an emergency.
  • When you ask, the coach can change your plan or log things for you. Check what it did before you train with it.
  • Fair-use limits apply. AI use comes with a monthly allowance, and Beast Mode has a larger one.

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • break the law or use Swole.fit to harm anyone
  • try to get into other people's accounts or data
  • attack, overload or scrape Swole.fit, or try to get around its security or limits
  • use the AI features to create harmful or illegal content
  • send spam or abuse through the contact form or to our support email
  • copy or resell Swole.fit, or offer it as your own service

If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Unless the law or security reasons stop us, we'll tell you why.

7. Free features and Beast Mode

The core features of Swole.fit are free. Beast Mode is an optional upgrade with extras, such as a larger AI allowance.

There are no payments in the app today. For now, we turn Beast Mode on manually. Before any paid plan starts, we'll update these terms.

8. Your content and data

Your training logs, notes, body data and coach chats are yours. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to store and process them and show them to you, only as far as we need to run Swole.fit for you. That includes sending data to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. The licence ends when you delete the data or your account.

Swole.fit itself, including its software, design and texts, belongs to us or our licensors.

Food data from public databases, such as Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central and the Swedish Food Agency, comes under its publishers' open licences, listed on our food data sources page. Nothing in these terms limits what you may do with that data under those licences. A food you base on an Open Food Facts or Australian FSANZ food stays under that share-alike licence, so we publish it in our open data with everything personal removed: no account, custom names, notes or timestamps.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under More, Delete account. It happens immediately, removes your data from our database and can't be undone.

We may also close your account if you break these terms, as described under Acceptable use.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Swole.fit running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features.

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We'll update the date at the top, and if a change affects you significantly, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you don't agree with the new terms, you can delete your account.

11. Liability

Training carries a risk of injury. You decide how you train and eat, and how far you follow the plans, targets and AI answers in Swole.fit.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

  • injuries or other harm that result from your training or diet
  • indirect or consequential losses
  • losses caused by events outside our reasonable control

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

12. Governing law

The laws of Sweden apply to these terms. If you're a consumer living in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

If something goes wrong, contact us first and we'll try to sort it out.
